Polyfabrics are a leading innovator in geosynthetic and safety solutions for the civil engineering, landscaping and construction industries.
Smart use of technology, an innovative technical team of sales engineers and a commitment to sustainable outcomes have transformed the business.
When Polyfabrics joined the Tapex Group in 2015, we leveraged the resources made available by the much larger entity. Polyfabrics has since developed new concepts and worked with our stakeholders to adapt the product range to better suit the changing climatic conditions about us. Examples of this collaborative approach include work with Total Geosynthetic Solutions – an advanced NATA accredited testing laboratory. Another is Polyfabrics funding the geosynthetics rail research at the University of Wollongong.
The Tapex excavation and site safety products have also been incorporated into the Polyfabrics range. This has further broadened the solution set available to our customers.
Polyfabrics is part of a 4th generation Australian family business. Polyfabrics people exhibit those family values in everything we do. Expressions of these values include our work with:
Giving back through the Rossi Foundation. In particular, the Foundation helps sufferers of domestic violence through Lou’s Place, hearing impaired children through the Shepherd Centre and funds indigenous high school scholarships.
Polyfabrics provide solutions to improve water collection & retention. Sustainable urban drainage systems reduce runoff and promote water infiltration back into the water table. Subsidiary Green Life Structures makes and installs greenhouses, minimising water usage and maximising food production.
A broad range of revegetation and erosion control solutions reduce runoff, promote regrowth and minimise moisture loss. We are helping re-green urban environments, providing roof garden solutions with our supply partners Atlantis. Our horticultural business, Polygro, specialises in maximising plant growth and crop conservation.
The Tapex Group runs the Plasback program. Plasback collects & recycles over 2 million kgs of single use plastics off New Zealand farms annually. Sustainability in operations includes 100MW of solar panels at head office, to energy efficient lighting in our warehouses.
